What to do when things don’t go our way.

It’s  often been said that what separates an extra ordinary person from an ordinary one it that extra efforts; and also what distinguishes a winner from a looser is that ability to persevere.  Over the weekend, while looking for a source of inspiration, I stumbled on the story of the famous Walt Disney and would like to share some of the lessons learned with you as fast as possible. The story was based on the struggles he faced in order to create the Disney land. It was said that the man, Walt Disney, himself wrote 249 proposals to woo investors, but he was turned down because they didn't believe in his vision. But he never gave up, and after the 250th proposal, he got a funding for his idea.

Now everyone can see how big and famous his vision metamorphosed today. And this got me thinking. I began to question myself, how many proposals have I personally written and with how many rejections? How many self or collaborative projects have I embarked and with what success? It is not that your idea or mine is not a fantastic one, but maybe we have not yet found someone that will key into our visions, like some would call it, someone to build our mastermind alliance with. Then we need to keep pressing forward, sometimes it can be reached under the first few hundred contacts we approach and for some, like the story of Colonel Harland Sanders, of the KFC fame, it can be over a thousand. But I learnt that for one to succeed in life he/she must be willing to press on against all odds. And frankly, all these lessons are what an average entrepreneur knows, but sometimes when the chips are down we tend to forget. Sometimes we need to read and listening to mentors to refresh our memories when all odds seem to be against us. We might be tired, discouraged, frustrated, beat down or up, but quitting should never be in our dictionary of words. Remember, the easiest thing to do when you are behind is to quit. Real winners don’t do the easy things, please don’t quit, we can be one of the winners.
Hope we all attain our hearts desire this year, let’s keep pressing on!

Regards,

More especially with the proliferation of too much social media, innumerable websites / blogs and all other digital platforms, sometimes words bodily written are sometimes not even enough to perform the magic of transforming to leads. Times are tough, and with each passing day strategies needed to be modified and sometimes changed. This is the era of digital marketing; no gainsaying. So it is no mews that with each passing day peoples’ attentions seem to wane quickly. However, I would like to implore you to ‘HAVE NO FEAR’, because this time our team at Exconc Studios would be there to assist you in the creation of some Concise, Attention grabbing and Funny short Videos that are particularly tailored for you.
